Overview
The Impact VPD-DSMC2-B Varidrive Set makes it easy to raise and lower seamless background paper rolls. The set includes expandable Varidrive cores that grip the paper roll’s inner tube and allow you to change your backgrounds with a simple pull of the chain. For ease of operating multiple backgrounds, Varidrive sets come with a selection of red, gray, black, and silver chains to quickly identify the appropriate background. Built with features like a large-tooth gear wheel and flat metal chain, the Varidrive set is easy to install and can be used with paper rolls up to 12 feet wide and weighing up to 42 pounds. The Varidrive set can be suspended from a variety of accessory hooks. Use Impact VariPoles and Triple Background Hooks with Super Clamps to suspend backgrounds in areas with extremely tall ceilings. You can also use the Varidrive set with Impact’s Cross Pole to expand compatibility with uncored paper rolls and fabric backgrounds.
Features
Raise and Lower Paper Roll Backgrounds
Save time and effort while changing your backgrounds. The Varidrive Set allows you to change backgrounds with the simple pull of the chain. You won’t have the hassle of climbing up a ladder and manually rolling up one background and unrolling the other.
Great for Large Paper Rolls
The Varidrive’s metal chain fits onto the large-tooth gears so you can easily rotate seamless paper rolls. Operating paper rolls as wide as 12 feet and weighing up to 42 pounds while standing on a ladder is time consuming and standing tiptoe on a chair is dangerous. Stay on the floor. You don’t even have to put your camera down. Just a simple pull on the chain will roll and unroll those large paper backgrounds.
Expanding Varidrive Cores
Each expanding Varidrive core can be adjusted to fit tightly inside your paper roll’s core and doesn’t slip while you’re raising or lowering your backgrounds.
Multiple Colored Chains
Ideal for setups with multiple backgrounds, the Varidrive’s multicolor chains make it easy to identify which background you want to operate. Change backgrounds quickly without interrupting your workflow.
