Overview
The Genaray SP-S-800B1 SpectroLED Studio Light provides bright, continuous, and flicker-free light for photography and video shoots. This light fixture is ideal for studio work, but it’s sturdy and durable enough for location work as well. The SP-S-800B can operate on AC or battery power. It offers a brightness range of 100% to 10%, along with a high CRI for precise color accuracy and rendering. This fixture generates a color temperature range from 5600 to 3200 K that can be adjusted in 100 K increments for the ideal color temperature to match other fixtures in your studio. This SpectroLED includes a remote that will control the color temperature and brightness settings from up to 65 feet away. The remote will also control the settings of all SpectroLED fixtures in a multilight display. For additional light shaping capability and light spill control, an easy-to-install barndoors attachment with removable silver intensifiers, and gel clips is available separately.

800 LEDs
The SP-S-800B has 800 LED bulbs that provide up to 4439 lux @ 1 meter. That’s an extremely bright light for a fixture of this compact size.
Adjustable Color Temperature with Dimmer
The color temperature can be adjusted from 5600 to 3200 K in 100 K increments. The dimming range of 100% to 10% can be adjusted by 1% increments and gives you the exact output level you need for your exposure.
Color Accuracy
You won’t need to spend your time at the computer, color correcting your shots. With a CRI of over 95, the SP-S-800B’s color output is extremely accurate.
Flicker–Free Lighting
The SP-S-800B emits a constant, flicker-free beam that’s perfect for shooting video at a high frame rate or in slow motion. It eliminates the strobing effect commonly seen in videos that are shot with non-flicker-free lights.
Battery or AC Power
The SP-S-800B runs on batteries or AC power. It’s a multivoltage fixture capable of running on 100 to 240 V, 50/60 Hz, so with the proper plug adapter, you can use this LED fixture at home or abroad. For cable-free portability, you can also power the unit using V-mount batteries (not included).
Remote Control
Brightness and color temperature can be controlled on your light from up to 65 feet away. The included remote controls any SpectroLED fixture, and it’s a great way to adjust the settings for multilight setups.
Mounting Options
The yoke gives you multiple mounting options. It’s compatible with most light stands that have a 5/8-inch baby-pin stud or a 1⅛-inch junior-pin receiver.
Optional Barndoors
For additional light shaping capability and light spill control, an easy-to-install barndoors attachment is available separately. The barndoors’ silver intensifiers are removable when a less specular or punchy light is desired. The attachment also has convenient integrated gel clips so you can use your favorite gels without tape or searching through your gear for extra clips.
