Overview
If you’re a musician traveling from your house to the studio and then to gigs, carrying equipment is a necessity but can be heavy and cumbersome. The Auray Travelers Mic Stand with Tripod Base is a compact and portable tripod that’s perfectly at home down low for miking amps or up high for vocals. It collapses to a small profile, so taking this stand with you in your gig bags won’t be a problem.
Features
Customizable Height
The Auray Travelers Mic Stand has a three-section telescoping shaft, so you can customize your mic height. Place your mic, and capture vocals, instruments, or guitar and bass cabinets. This stand has a range from 18 to 58 inches. And the thumb locks make it easy to quickly deploy each section and lock them in place.
Portability
One thing about mic stands is they’re quite awkward to carry and sometimes don’t even fit in your bag. You can fold the Auray Travelers Mic Stand down to 17.5 inches and store it in your equipment or instrument bag. The stand is light, weighing 2.6 pounds, so it won’t weigh you down.
Extendable Nonslip Base
The base of the tripod offers extendable legs with nonslip feet. Extend the legs for extra stability or when setting up on uneven flooring. The nonslip feet optimize traction to keep the tripod in place. This can help when rocking out on stage literally rocks every piece of gear into another position.
Road-Ready Durability
When you’re going from the studio to your next gig, your equipment will take lots of abuse. The steel construction makes this a durable tripod to take with you whether rehearsing or performing.
5/8-Inch Mount
The 5/8-inch mount allows attachment of mics or tablets. Connect your favorite microphone and record your vocals or instruments. Attach a tablet adapter, and you can use the tripod for reading sheet music with your mobile device.
