Overview
The Magnus DLX-363M is a compact and lightweight tripod with a pan-and-tilt head that supports up to 6 pounds of your photo or video gear when you’re on the go. This deluxe tripod features a removable center column that becomes a five-section monopod ideal for outdoor, sports, and macro photography. The three-section aluminum legs with flip locks are easy to adjust and secure to the perfect height. A locking center brace offers steadiness for your camera, and the integrated hook allows you to attach a counterweight for additional stability on uneven terrain or in windy conditions. A three-way pan-and-tilt head features a quick-release mounting plate with a universal 1/4-inch mounting screw that is compatible with most cameras’ mounting sockets. And in case you need to change orientation, the platform can also easily switch from landscape to portrait position in seconds. The DLX-363M folds down to a compact 24 inches, and a nylon carrying bag with shoulder strap are included to let you take your tripod anywhere.
Features
Pan-and-Tilt Head
The three-way pan-and-tilt head lets you quickly orient your camera so you can aim or follow the action with ease. For the stability of the camera, pan-and-tilt functions employ separate locking knobs. The mounting plate easily swivels from landscape to portrait orientation.
Telescoping Legs
Three-section telescoping legs are secured by flip locks for easy adjustment and a center locking brace provides additional steadiness on even and uneven surfaces.
Integrated Monopod
When you remove the center column from the collar, it becomes a monopod with height adjustable from 19.5 to 76.5 inches. This is an ideal feature for travel, sports, wildlife, and outdoor macro photography.
Quick-release Plate
The quick-release plate comes with a 1/4-inch mounting screw that is compatible with most cameras’ mounting sockets. The mounting plate is released from the head with a flick of a switch, so you can alternate between tripod and handheld photography in seconds.
Rapid-Adjust Center Column
Changing the height of your camera couldn’t be simpler. The rapid-adjust center column offers 14 inches of height adjustment without changing the height of the legs. Move your camera to the perfect position with a simple twist of the locking collar.
Stability
Don’t let a little wind or setting up on an incline hang you up. A hook at the end of the center column allows you to attach a counterweight, like a sand bag, for additional stability when setting up in windy conditions or on uneven terrain.
Rubber Feet
For additional stability on almost any kind of surface or footing, the tripod’s rubber feet won’t slip on most smooth surfaces and will swivel to adjust to uneven terrain.
Foam Leg Padding
Foam padding around the tripod legs assures you of a solid grip in rainy weather, and it keeps your hands comfortable when handling the tripod in the cold.
Bubble Levels
Bubble levels on the mounting plate and on the tripod let you know that you’re oriented with the horizon.
Carrying Case
