The Keygrip SA-FRB is ideal for mounting heavy studio gear with a 1⅛-inch junior pin, like large studio lights, C-stand risers, and accessories like wind machines. Great for safely moving heavy lights and booms around the set or creating a rolling light stand, this rugged base features 3-inch locking casters for easily moving gear over surfaces including thick carpeting. Use a junior-to-baby-pin adapter to directly mount gear with baby pins for low angle. When it’s folded, the base can stand on its own which can keep it conveniently out of the way in a busy studio and for easy storage and transportation.

Runway Base
The runway base is a sturdy studio accessory that adds wheels to any C-stand riser, light, or accessory with a 1⅛-inch junior pin. Solid steel construction gives it the muscle to support up to 88 pounds.
Junior Receiver
This runway base is compatible with any C-stand riser, studio light, and accessories like wind machines with a 1⅛-inch junior pin. Use the SA-FRB to add wheels to a turtle base C-stand or even mount a heavy studio light and easily roll it to where it’s needed.
Fold-Up Steel Legs
When not in use, fold up the sturdy all-steel legs to reduce the base’s width for easy transport and storage. And for convenience, the runway base stands on its own when it’s folded, so it won’t clutter your studio floor or get under foot while you’re working.
Caster Mounting Blocks
This runway base is designed with billet aluminum caster mounting blocks that can support heavy gear without buckling or sagging. Even with the heaviest recommended load, the SA-FRB will hold the weight and roll flawlessly until it’s time to break down your set.
Three-Inch Locking Casters
The large 3-inch casters give the stand the mobility that’s crucial on a busy set or location. The wheels glide over most surfaces, including thick carpeting. Foot-operated brakes make it fast and easy to lock the casters.
Leveling Cam
For slightly uneven surfaces, the leveling cam at the stand’s base can adjust the angle of the riser a few degrees so it’s perfectly vertical.
