Overview
The Gradus GXS-200BI is a powerhouse bicolor monolight that features an advanced dual COB LED chipset design. With an output of 47,701 lux, the light is powerful enough to use with a softbox with diffusion and illuminate your subject with high-quality, flicker-free light. It boasts a CCT range of 2700 to 6500 K with ultrahigh SSI, so the light will deliver extremely accurate color reproduction while it matches any ambient lighting conditions or tungsten fixtures in your setup. In addition to the light’s intuitive onboard controls, the GXS-Series app provides even more options and wireless control from a Bluetooth-equipped mobile device. Control CCT and brightness for all connected lights and select between 12 animated lighting effects to simulate realistic effects and add drama to your scenes. This light is great for shooting interviews and dialogue because the cooling fan is so quiet, microphones won’t pick distracting up fan noise.

The first thing you’ll notice about the GXS-200BI is it’s bright. 47,700 lux bright. The dual COB array delivers a single-point beam without multiple shadows that are common with LED panels. The GXS-200BI gives you the option to move your light back out of the picture frame and still have plenty of output to light your subject.
Wide CCT Range
The GXS-200BI boasts a color temperature range from the 2700 K warmth of a tungsten bulb to the cool and bright 6500 K daylight. Select the color temperature in 100 K increments and match your other light fixtures, or match the ambient light whether it’s dawn or twilight, sunny, or overcast.
Color Accuracy
The GXS-200BI’s high SSI score of 93 means predictable color and near perfect rendering with most cameras. Superior TLCI and CRI scores indicate the GXS-200BI delivers beautiful color rendition of skin tones and colors.
Quiet
The GXS-200BI features an ultra-quiet fan, so there will be minimal fan noise when you’re recording speech or dialogue, even when you’re using sensitive microphones.
Effects Mode
Effects mode is another way the GXS-200BI will have your audience talking. Twelve effects are accessible from the GSX app, so you can realistically simulate the light from a flickering fire, paparazzi camera flashes, or a glowing TV. Add drama to your video and let the GXS-200BI help you tell the story.
App Control
Use the GXS app to control your GXS-200BI lights individually or all at once from a Bluetooth-equipped smartphone or tablet. The app gives you even more lighting possibilities by letting you operate individual lights or groups. Use the app to access the light’s effects mode, and it provides multiple editing features for each effect.
Umbrella Mount
An integrated umbrella mount is compatible with most standard photo umbrellas, which allow you to soften or bounce the beam for wraparound and diffuse light.
Bowens Accessory Mount
The integrated Bowens accessory mount lets you add easy-to-attach accessories like soft boxes or reflectors to your light.
