Watson’s GLPA-2 adapters will convert older two-prong outlets in offices and homes, to three-prong outlets that will let you use equipment and appliances that have grounded plugs.
Grounding Protection
Electrical shorts and power surges are common with two-prong plugs when you plug a device that needs more power. Grounding protection is key for avoiding these problems. The GLPA-2 comes with a built-in grounding tab that attaches to the faceplate’s center screw on a grounded outlet box. A grounded three-prong plug will let you draw more power without shorting out your outlet.
