It also offers two mounting size options and a horizontal level, allowing you to move from a tripod to a video rig and stay level while you work.
Features
Raise, Tilt, and Extend
The Magnus Folding Z-Head allows you to raise, tilt, and extend your camera to areas unreachable with traditional fixed tripod heads. Raise your photo or video camera rig an extra 3.8 inches to get shots over a crowd. Tilt and extend so you can get closer when shooting still life, like a bowl of fruit, without the tripod legs getting in the way. Attach the Z-Head to a motion slider, and increase the distance up to 7 inches. With this versatile head, you won’t be stopped when extra was all you needed.
Pocket Sized
We all know that camera heads are oddly shaped and awkward to store in a bag. The Folding Z-Head collapses into a compact height of 0.8 inches, which makes it ideal to throw in your back pocket. But if you need to store it in your camera bag, fear not—it lays flat and skinny in those pockets as well.
Bubble Level
You may not always notice an uneven horizon in your photos, but people looking at them will. The bubble level helps keep your images on an even plane, so that cityscape with large buildings won’t look like they’re sliding off the edge.
Dual Tripod Mounts
Mount the Z-Head to tripods or video rigs with the 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 mounts. With options like these, you can quickly switch between multiple camera setups.
