Overview
If you’re a photographer who’s constantly on the go shooting wedding, sports, or events, Bolt’s PP-500DR dual-outlet power pack provides the power to up to 2700 flashes before you need to recharge. It’s designed to power two flash units, and it’s lightweight and completely portable so you can sling the power pack over your shoulder, or attach it to your belt, and keep shooting all day. With the power to generate lightning-fast recycling time, those money shots will never be missed. The PP-500DR is compatible with most on-camera flashes, including Nikon, Canon, Sony, Bolt, Sunpak, Vivitar, and Metz. It’s designed with a removeable and interchangeable battery pack that can be quickly swapped out with a fully charged PP-5800BP (available separately) in a few short seconds. The included charger will fully recharge the battery pack in 4.5 hours, so a freshly charged battery will always be handy during an extended shoot. If a smartphone is running low, the battery pack boasts a USB charging port.

Portable Power
The PP-500DR is the perfect addition to your gear bag if you’re going out to shoot any event that might take several hours, like a wedding or sporting event. It provides up to 2700 flashes at full power and is so light that you can attach it to your belt or carry it over your shoulder
Dual Outputs
The battery is designed with two outputs for powering two flashes at the same time. When you want to add an accent or fill light to your setup, the PP-500DR is designed with two outputs a second flash. For multi-camera setups, you can also use the PP-500DR to power a flash for each camera.
Locking Power Sockets
Move around freely without the concern of accidentally disconnecting your flash cable. Both outputs feature locking connectors for compatible cables to ensure a secure connection to the battery pack. You’ll be able to continue to shoot, and your workflow won’t be interrupted if there’s an accidental tug on the cable.
Blazing Recycle Times
When recycle times are crucial for capturing that special moment, you don’t want to leave your recycle times up to a few AA batteries. The PP-500DR provides super-fast recycle times as short as one second, so you’ll always have the power to fire your flash.
Interchangeable Battery System
The Bolt PP-5800BP battery is available separately—when the battery runs low, you don’t have to stop what you’re doing to switch powerpacks. The battery slides off the unit and can be recharged separately. Your shoot can continue for as long as you want because one battery can recharge while you’re working with the other.
Rechargeable
The included AC battery charger recharges the lithium-ion battery in approximately 4.5 hours.
USB Charging Port
Long shoots can drain your phone’s battery too. The PP-500DR is equipped with a USB charging port with a 1 A output for recharging your phone so you can stay connected throughout your shoot.
Battery Meter
The top panel of the PP-500DR features a battery meter indicator that prominently displays the remaining charge in the battery. Just a quick glance down at the unit will tell you how much power is left in the battery, and when it’s time to recharge.
Compatibility
The PP-500DR is compatible with most on-camera flashes that have an HV port, including flashes by Nikon, Canon, Sony, Bolt, Sunpak, Vivitar, and Metz.
