Overview
Optimized to capture a voice with clarity and accuracy, the Polsen PL-2C-TA4 is a cardioid lavalier mic with a TA4F connector for Shure transmitters. This lavalier microphone is designed for live presentation applications, such as lectures and interviews, due to the cardioid polar pattern that focuses on the sound in front of it while rejecting off-axis sound and noise . This is a great feature when you’re recording in a noisy environment like a trade show floor, and it also minimizes the possibility of feedback when using a PA system for live sound. The microphone's small, 1/4-inch diameter allows for discrete placement with the included tie clip, while its 46-inch cable lets you move freely while you’re recording or speaking.
Features
Designed for Speech
The PL-2C-TA4 features a tuned frequency response that’s optimized to capture speech. Whether you’re recording an interview, lecturing, vlogging, or creating a podcast, this lavalier captures voices with accuracy and clarity.
Cardioid Polar Pattern
The cardioid polar pattern is ideal for live presentation applications, such as lectures, since cardioid microphones focus on the sound in front of them while rejecting off-axis noise. This makes them less susceptible to feedback when addressing an audience through a PA system.
46 Inch Cable
The 46-inch mic cable gives you enough length move naturally and turn your head without concern for putting strain on the cable or accidentally tugging the connector out of the input jack.
TA4F Connector
The PL-2C-TA4’s cable terminates with a TA4F connector to use with Shure transmitters, and it integrates seamlessly into Shure wireless systems.
Discreet Mic Placement
An included tie clip lets you discreetly place the microphone on your lapel, collar, tie, or elsewhere on your wardrobe.
Foam Windscreen
Don't let a little puff of wind interrupt your shoot. The foam windscreen minimizes noise from light breezes that can compromise your audio.
