Overview
The Raya R9-BI-LED round panel LED light packs surprising brightness and essential color accuracy into a 9-inch LED that’s ideal for photo and video shoots alike. This light fixture runs on AC or DC power and easily mounts on a light stand or boom arm via the removable 5/8-inch receiver. The R9 boasts a TCLI rating of 99, so it will illuminate the subtlest skin tones or color gradations with color accuracy that’s unusual for light fixtures in this class. Brightness can be controlled in 1% increments for the exact output your exposure needs. The adjustable color temperature ranges from the warmth of a tungsten bulb to bright natural daylight, so you can dial in an exact color temperature for your exposure or match the color temperature of the other light fixtures in your setup. Optional remote operation is possible with the Genaray’s MB-WRT Wireless Transmitter.

Round LED Panel
The round LED array creates a natural-shaped beam that’s ideal for capturing interviews and portraits without the sharp and square edges that are common to square LED lights. And the R9 provides a round and natural-looking catchlight that will make your subject’s eyes come alive and sparkle.
Surprising Brightness
The R9-BI-LED is packed with 400 LEDs, and boasts brightness of up to 1200 lux at 3 feet. That’s enough light to move the R9 back out of the picture frame to capture an interview or webcast.
Color Accuracy
With a TLCI of 99 and a CRI of 96.8, the R9’s color output is extremely accurate, and this light will capture the subtlest skin tones or color gradations for dependable color rendering that’s unusual for light fixtures in this class. With this color accuracy, you’ll spend less time color correcting, and more time shooting and editing.
Diffuser
The diffuser softens the light and provides you with a beautiful single-shadow light with wraparound quality that’s perfect for portraits and fashion.
Mounting Options
The removable receiver has a 5/8-inch baby pin for light stand mounting. With a 90° front-and-back tilt and a 360° swivel, you’ll be able to aim it exactly where you need it. The receiver has an integrated umbrella mount for extra diffusing and light-shaping options.
Runs on AC or DC Power
The R9-BI-LED runs on batteries or AC power. For cable-free portability, you can power the unit with two readily available NP-F batteries (not included). Plug the R9 into a wall socket for constant power. It’s a multivoltage fixture capable of running on 100 to 240 V, 50/60 Hz, so with the proper plug adapter, the light is ready for worldwide use.
Optional Remote
The R9 is compatible with Genaray’s MB-WRT wireless transmitter (sold separately), which gives you control over your brightness and color temperature settings from up to 98 feet away. With 99 channels to choose from, you can remotely control your light in crowded locations, without interference from other photographers working nearby.
