Overview
For outstanding vlogs, interviews, and influencer videos, the Angler BI-90W-RL 18-inch ring light will illuminate you with ultrabright, flattering wraparound light. Its 480 bi-color SMD LEDs are housed in a dome-shaped diffuser that softens and spreads the beam to 120° for diffused single-shadow light that’s near-broadcast quality in brightness and color accuracy. This ring light runs on battery or AC power so it’s as effective in the field as it is in the office or at home. Variable color temperature adjustment from 3200 to 5600 K lets you light subjects with the warmth of a tungsten bulb, the brilliance of bright daylight, and everything in between. Create realistic lighting or match the ambient light of your environment. The light is bright enough for some broadcast applications and with adjustable brightness, you’ll have the prefect look for your video. A flex arm with a spring-loaded smartphone clamp puts your smartphone at the center of the ring light. For ultimate functionality, multiple cold-shoes and 1/4-20 accessory mounts provide points to attach items like an accessory arm, small photo or video accessories, a makeup mirror, or a camera with an optional mini ballhead.
Features
Bright and Even Illumination
The Angler BI-90W-RL LED ring light is your first choice for vlogs, influencer videos, and even broadcasting from home. Its ultrabright 1490 lx beam casts a 360° ring of soft and flattering illumination that will enhance your facial features, so you’ll look you best for your audience. Your audience will also see striking ring-shaped catchlights that will make your eyes sparkle.
Adjustable Color Temperature
The light’s color temperature is adjustable from 3200 to 5600 K. Whatever lighting conditions you’re in, the BI-90W-RL LED can match it. From the warmth of a tungsten bulb to bright daylight, and everything in between, this light will fill your frame with natural-looking illumination. Convenient resets are available on the remote for quickly setting cool, warm, or neutral color temperatures.
Dimming from 0% to 100%
A dimming knob on the rear panel and the remote control makes it easy to dial in the right power level for your exposure or video. The light offers a full range of dimming, from 100% power all the way down to zero.
Flexible Smartphone Bracket
The flexible arm features a spring-loaded smartphone clamp for phones up to 3.25 inches wide. It puts your phone at the center of the action, where you can easily position and aim it.
Silent Operation
The passive cooling system operates silently and is perfect for video applications. Whether you’re creating a broadcast or vodcast, the microphone won’t pick up any distracting noise from the light.
Runs Cool
The BI-90W-RL LED produces almost no heat, so it will make you look cool, and it will also keep you cool. Move it as close to you or your subjects as you want. You’ll stay cool and comfortable, even through lengthy vlogs and interviews.
Add Accessories
Use the two 1/4-20 mounts and five cold-shoe mounts to add accessory arms, an optional makeup mirror, an optional mini ballhead to mount a point-and-shoot or DSLR camera, and other small photo and video accessories.
Battery or Plug-In Power
If you’re in the field or not near a wall outlet, the show will go on because the light runs on two readily available NP-F batteries. Of course, if there’s a plug nearby, the light runs on AC power too.
USB Charging Port
The BI-90W-RL LED has a 5V/2A USB charging port that lets you recharge a mobile device.
Remote Control
The included IR remote control lets you fine-tune the color temperature and brightness so you can adjust the look while you’re seeing yourself on a monitor your phone.
