Overview
The Angler BI-45W-RL 14-inch ring light is designed to illuminate vlogs, interviews, and influencer videos with bright, flattering wraparound light. Its bi-color SMD LEDs are housed in a dome-sahped diffuser that softens and spreads the beam for a soft single-shadow light that’s near-broadcast quality in brightness and color accuracy. It features intuitive analog controls and front- and rear-facing LED diplay panels for precise, repeatable results. It also incorporates a USB Type-A power port to charge your smartphone while recording, so low battery failure won't be a concern. This ring light runs on battery or AC power so it’s as effective in the field as it is in the office or at home. Variable color temperature from 3200 to 5600 K matches the warmth of a tungsten bulb to the brilliance of bright daylight, and everything in between. Create realistic lighting or match the ambient light of your environment, and with adjustable brightness, you’ll have the prefect look for your video. A flex arm with a spring-loaded smartphone clamp puts your smartphone at the center of the ring light. A cold-shoe and 1/4-20 accessory mount provide points to attach items like an accessory arm and small photo or video accessories such as a makeup mirror, microphone, or a camera with an optional mini ballhead. A four-section light stand is included to round out this kit with a stable base for your light. It’s adjustable from 16 to 58.5 inches so you can speak to your audience from behind a desk or in front of a background.

Adjustable Color Temperature
The light’s color temperature is adjustable from 3200 to 5600 K. The BI-45W-RL LED can match lighting conditions from the warmth of a tungsten bulb to bright daylight, and everything in between, and it will fill your frame with natural-looking illumination. Convenient presets are available on the remote for quickly setting cool, warm, or neutral color temperatures.
Dimming from 0% to 100%
A dimming knob and the remote control make it easy to dial in the right power level for your exposure or video. The light offers a full range of dimming, from 100% power all the way down to zero.
Flexible Smartphone Bracket
The flexible arm features a spring-loaded smartphone clamp for phones up to 3.25 inches wide. It puts your phone at the center of the action, where you can easily position and aim it.
Cool and Quiet
The BI-45W-RL LEDs produces almost no heat, so they’ll stay cool and make you look cool. Even at close range, you’ll stay comfortable through lengthy vlogs and interviews. The passive cooling system operates silently and is perfect for video applications. Whether you’re chatting or creating a vodcast, the microphone won’t pick up any distracting noise from the light.
Add Accessories
Use the 1/4-20 and cold-shoe mounts to add optional small photo and video accessories. Add an accessory arm for a microphone, makeup mirror so you can touch up your hair or reapply makeup between shots, or an optional mini ballhead to mount a point-and-shoot or DSLR camera.
Battery or Plug-In Power
The show will go on even when you’re in the field or not near a wall outlet, because the light runs on one readily available NP-F battery. Of course, if there’s a plug nearby, the light runs on AC power too.
USB Charging Port
The BI-45W-RL LED has a 5V/2A USB charging port that lets you recharge a mobile device. Connect your smartphone to the port, and you’ll never have to stop what you’re doing because your phone’s battery won’t run low while you’re shooting.
Remote Control
The included IR remote control lets you fine-tune the color temperature and brightness so you can adjust the look while viewing yourself on a monitor. The remote also has three preset color temperature settings of cold, warm, and neutral. It offers presets that instantly set the light at 100% and 50% brightness.
Light Stand
A 4-section light stand is included with the BI-45W-RL light so you can set up almost anywhere. Use the light stand for a stable platform and for interesting eye-catching camera angles. Adjust height between 16 to 58.5 inches, so you can record while you sit or stand.
