Overview
Pearstone’s Align Series cables employ the latest USB and Power Delivery standards to connect components on a camera rig and other photo and video setups. The ALB-22CS-08B’s durable braided jacket will tolerate bends and twists of a camera rig to ensure that strain and sharp corners won’t damage your cable and interrupt your workflow. This high-performance Align Series cable is made for demanding data, power, and video applications. It supports 240 W Power Delivery (PD) for the most power-hungry gear on your rig, employing USB4 architecture to deliver 20 Gbps data transmission speeds and up to 8K video output. Align Series cables are backwards compatible with earlier USB 3 and USB 2.0 formats and can be used to quickly charge a large variety of USB devices, including power banks, laptops, tablets, cameras, and smartphones.
Features
Minimizes Camera Rig Clutter
Connecting devices with high-quality cables is essential, but cable clutter can take up valuable space on your rig and slow you down. The short length will give you enough cable to connect your devices but minimize cable clutter.
Durable Construction
A braided nylon jacket and metal connectors with enhanced strain relief ensure the cable will withstand the rigor of insertion cycles, routing through and around equipment, and the daily wear-and-tear of a gear bag.
USB4
The Align Series are full-featured USB4 cables capable of supporting the most demanding on-camera tasks. Data transfer speeds up to 20 Gbps support recording to an external SSD and up to 240W of PD will cover all of your current and future gears power needs.
USB and Thunderbolt Compatible
The ALB-22CS-08B is universally compatible with USB and Thunderbolt. It’s uniquely designed for on-camera applications, but it’s also perfectly suited for everyday tasks like charging a phone, offloading photos from a memory card, or connecting an external monitor to a laptop.
Shielded
Align Series cables are shielded to prevent any kind of interference from entering the signal path. Running the cable past other electronic devices, batteries, or monitors won’t compromise your signal or slow you down when you’re shooting.
Gold Plated Contacts
Non-corrosive gold-plated contacts ensure excellent conductivity and flawless signal transfer.
