Overview
The BCPM-A2 personal monitor amplifier is the powered version of Polsen’s BCPM-1 personal monitor. This in-ear monitor runs on two AAA batteries, and it’s hardwired to the audio source to put your monitoring volume control right at your fingertips. It’s ideal if you’re a keyboardist or drummer who stays in one spot while you perform. And it will deliver the feed you need without excessive cabling or clutter. The BCPM-A2’s active amplifier gives you the advantage of boosting the input signal when you need extra volume in your headphones. The monitor also features a mono/stereo switch that lets you choose the mode that matches your needs. The convenient belt clip ensures the BCPM won’t be in the way while you play. The monitor features a combo input jack that accepts either XLR or 1/4-inch connectors. This road-worthy monitor is constructed with a durable metal chassis that can take the bumps and impacts of travel and stage performance. And the locking XLR connector guards against accidental disconnects on stage or in the studio.

Battery Powered
The BCPM-A2 is an active monitor and runs on two AAA batteries. This gives the advantage of boosting the incoming signal with the active amplifier. If you need a little more level than the source is giving you, just turn up the volume.
Mono/Stereo Selector
The internal mono/stereo switch let you select the mode that meets your needs. Select stereo when you connect to a headphone output or other stereo source. Select mono if you connect to a mono source, like the mixer’s aux send.
Volume Control
The volume knob with on/off switch is set at the end of the monitor where it’s easy to reach, even without looking. If you’re sitting behind a keyboard or drum kit, changing the monitoring volume in your headphones is trickier than it sounds. If you can’t walk over to the headphone amp or give the “more volume” sign to the sound engineer, the BCPM-A2 is for you. It puts a volume knob right at your belt, so you can dial in the perfect monitor level any time you need it.
Combo Input Jack
Because monitoring is so critical to your performance, the XLR jack features a locking mechanism to prevent the connector from accidentally disconnecting —like if there’s a little tug, or even if someone trips over the cable. When you’re done, just press the locking tab to disconnect. Not using an XLR cable? No problem. The BCPM-A2’s combo jack accepts 1/4-inch connectors, too.
Headphone Jack
Use your favorite studio or monitoring headphones, ear buds, or in-ear monitors. The standard stereo 1/8-inch headphone jack accepts them all.
Compact and Durable
