Overview
The Axler QRA-501L Quick-Release Assembly gives you the freedom to remove your camera from a tripod, stabilizer, or support rig without having to spend time unscrewing it from the device. It includes a quick-release adapter and long Manfrotto 501PL style sliding camera plate for smooth and easy camera positioning. The longer plate length offers increased sliding range for balancing larger or heavier camera rigs. The plate includes 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera screws for use with a variety of cameras, and features three built-in bubble levels to assist with leveling. 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes on the underside of the adapter are provided for mounting to tripods, stabilizers, or other support rigs. Additionally, a 3/8"-16 screw and hex key are included which give you the flexibility to mount the adapter to any 3/8"-16 threaded hole.

Long, Sliding Quick-Release Plate
The Axler QRA-501L incorporates a sliding quick-release plate that enables smooth and easy camera positioning. This unit facilitates micropositioning on stabilizer rigs, and allows you to attach the assembly to your tripod for increased forward and backward range of motion. The QRA-501L has a longer plate than the QRA-501S, delivering the increased surface area you need for balancing a large camera or heavy rig. If you have multiple QRA-501L assemblies, you can use the same quick-release plate to attach your camera to all your mounting equipment. With the QRA-501L, you won't need to remove your camera from the quick-release plate to reposition it. It also makes it a breeze to dismount your camera when you need to switch lenses or replace a battery.
Included 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 Camera Screws
The QRA-501L is equipped with 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 camera screws for use with a variety of cameras. Threaded holes on the side of the adapter provide convenient storage for the screws when not in use, which makes them easier to find and harder to lose.
Compatible with Manfrotto 501 Plate Systems
The Axler QRA-501L Quick-Release Assembly offers full compatibility with Manfrotto's 501PL and 501PLONG plates, a widely-used plate system you may already own.
Built-In Bubble Levels
The built-in bubble levels are an essential tool for precise balancing while setting up on a hill or other uneven terrain, where it's difficult to determine by eye whether your camera is level.
Ratchet-Style Locking Knob
The ratchet-style locking knob makes it easy to tighten the quick-release plate's position if there's not enough clearance to rotate the locking knob. Just pull out on ratchet handle and rotate it for a better position.
3/8″-16 Mounting Screw and Hex Key
An included 3/8″-16 mounting screw and hex key offer the flexibility of mounting this assembly on a female 3/8″ threaded mount.
