Overview
The Keygrip LS-WU-DRHDR by Impact is made to support large lights, booms, and accessories that weigh up to 168 pounds with rock-solid stability, even at its 11.5-foot maximum height. The built-in mechanical assist gear boxes on both risers allow a single operator to use the ratchet handle to safely lift and lower heavy loads. Most notable among the multiple built-in safety features is the auto-lock safety pin mechanism. As each riser is extended, a safety pin engages notches that run the length of each riser in small increments and prevents heavy loads from descending if the riser locks are inadvertently loosened. A 7.5-foot base diameter, ultra-thick risers, and robust aluminum spider casting ensure stability, even at maximum height. For uneven surfaces or windy conditions, a rotating tie-down collar allows you to fortify the stand with a tie down kit (available separately). Large and heavy loads are as easy and safe to lift as they are to lower. And with the small locking increments, you can precisely position lights, booms, and accessories at an exact height, and repeat the process for different shoots and setups. Large 8-inch locking casters guarantee mobility over a variety of surfaces, and for easy moving and storage, a special gearing system keeps them level on the ground regardless of leg angle and capable of rolling even when the stand is closed, making storage a breeze.

168-Pound Max Load
This large double riser is made to easily hoist and provides stability for the large and hefty lights, booms, and accessories on your set. It has a maximum load capacity of 168 pounds, so you can confidently support your large light fixtures over 11 feet in height.
Mechanical Assist
Both risers are operated by a ratchet handle attached to integrated gear boxes. This allows precise and repeatable light, boom, or accessory placement that can be safely raised, lowered, and adjusted by one operator.
Auto-Lock Safety Pin Mechanism
When lifting and lowering hefty loads, the auto-lock system, with notches that run the length of each riser, will prevent mishaps, even if the riser locks are inadvertently loosened. Each notch is 0.34 inches apart. Each revolution of the ratchet handle is about 14 notches, or 4.8 inches.
Heavy-Duty Double Risers
The thick 3.1- and 2.75-inch diameter risers are made to keep loads of up to 168 pounds rock steady, even at maximum height. Large ergonomic locking T-handles add another layer of safety and prevent play or wobbling.
Junior Receiver
Any light or accessory with a 1⅛-inch junior pin weighing up to 168 pounds can be mounted onto this light stand.
Wide Footprint Diameter
With the leg struts fully extended, and the casters turned outward, the stand boasts a maximum footprint diameter of 7.5 feet for stability when supporting heavy loads.
Large 8-Inch Diameter Rubber Casters
When mobility is a must, the stand’s 8-inch treaded rubber casters will let you easily move the stand over a variety of surfaces. The casters are individually geared, so they remain on the floor and capable of rolling, even when the stand is closed.
Tie-Down Collar
For extra stability in windy conditions or when the stand is on an uneven surface, the rotating 3-hole collar lets you use ropes or cables from readily available tie-down kits to anchor the stand, prevent wobbling or swaying, and ensure mishaps don’t occur at critical times during your shoot.
