Overview
The TLSP-1614 solves the problem of integrating a laptop into your photo or video setup. This sturdy all-metal platform adds a 15.9 × 13.25-inch surface to your setup that’s large enough to accommodate a 16-inch laptop. It’s an ideal accessory for tethering, so you can instantly see your exposures or footage, back up your files, and get feedback from clients. It can also come in handy as an accessory table to keep items like light meters, memory cards, makeup, and small props close by. Four integrated mounting options include 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threads, a 5/8-inch receiver, and an arca base, so this platform is compatible with tripods, light stands, arca-type ballheads, and accessory bars. Sturdy aluminum construction provides you with a solid and flat surface that won’t bend or buckle. Lips on both sides of the platform and a security strap will allow you to set your laptop at an angle and prevent it from slipping off the surface.

Mounting Options
The mounting plate has four mounting options, so whether you have a tripod, C-stand, light stand, or accessory bar nearby, you can use them all to mount a laptop and integrate it into your setup.
1/4-20 and 3/8-16 Sockets
Mount the platform onto a tripod or leveling base with the 1/4-20 socket. Use the 3/8-16 socket to attach the platform to a tripod with a top stud or an arca-type tripod head.
5/8-Inch Receiver
Use the 5/8-inch receiver to mount the platform onto a light stand or C-stand.
Arca Base
The arca base lets you mount the platform onto a ballhead or tripod with an arca-type clamp.
Security Features
If you’ve been putting your laptop on a chair or apple box, you know that one little tug on the cable can bring it crashing to the ground. To prevent mishaps, especially when you mount your laptop at an angle, the TLSP-1614 is constructed with two security features:
Raised Edges
Lips at opposite edges of the platform are made with different heights that will match your laptop’s thickness. The shorter lip is made for thin laptops like the MacBook Air, so it will prevent slipping but won’t interfere with typing on the keyboard. Use the taller lip to prevent thicker laptops like a ThinkPad from slipping while you work on it.
Security Strap
An additional security strap with a touch-connect closure is included to make sure your laptop stays in place.
