Overview
The Auray Telescoping Shaft with Ball Head adds additional height onto your desktop or standard mic stand. It offers height adjustment from 10 to 14.75 inches and a large locking knob which helps you quickly loosen and tighten the shaft, so your mic is in the ideal position in front of the sound source. The ball head rotates, and tilts as well as adds a 90° notch to allow precise mic placement. The included adapter attaches to a 5/8-27 threaded mount, and it has a 1/4-20 threaded stud to attach different accessories and mounts.

Mic Stand Extension
Attach the telescoping shaft to the end of your mic stand’s 5/8-27 threaded mount, and increase the height of a camera, audio recorder, or microphone from 10 to 14.75 inches. This is useful if to add height when recording at your desk or using a standard mic stand.
Ball Head and Adapter
Included is a swiveling-ball head and the 5/8-27 to 1/4-20 adapter. The ball head allows you to rotate and tilt with additional angles, so your recording device is in-line with your sound source. Use the adapter to accommodate any 1/4-20 accessory onto the stand’s 5/8-27 threaded mount.
