Overview
The Impact Super Clamp with Ratchet Handle is a solid multipurpose grip accessory that’s an indispensable tool for every gear bag, as it’s the foundation of an entire grip system. The single-piece, cast-alloy construction is strong enough to hold loads up to 33 pounds, and the screw-operated jaws fit any shape of tube or flat surface from 0.5 to 2.1 inches wide. The Super Clamp lets you mount lights, umbrellas, shelves, and cross bars to your rig or setup. The ratchet handle is perfect for using the clamp in tight spaces, and it allows you to operate the clamp even when the handle can’t rotate 360 degrees. Snap-in Hex Socket
The snap-in hex socket is compatible with hex studs and snap-in pins, and it provides a secure and non-twist connection for your accessories. The hex design won’t slip or turn once it’s inserted into the socket, and the locking snap-in pin cannot be released until the safety lock button is pressed.
Wedge for Flat Surfaces
When you need to attach the clamp to a flat surface, the included wedge insert gives the clamp a matching flat surface for clamping onto doors, tabletops, or shelves.
Ratchet Handle
The ratchet handle is ideal for tightening the clamp in locations where there isn’t a lot of room to operate. When it’s adjacent to a wall or next to rigging and can’t be rotated 360 degrees, the ratchet handle pulls out and disengages so you can reposition it and continue to tighten the jaws.
1/4"-20 and M5 Threaded Receivers
For added convenience and versatility, the Super Clamp is outfitted with 1/4"-20 and M5 female threads for attaching additional accessories with 1/4-20 or M5 male threads.
Polymer Grip Pads
The polymer pads that line the clamp ensure the Super Clamp won’t scratch the mounting surface.
