Overview
The Angler 24 × 24-inch BoomBox is a square softbox that’s designed for monolights and flash heads with Bowens mounts. The lightweight and portable BoomBox is an indispensable accessory when you need to quickly set up a light in the field or in the studio. It features an integrated speed ring and flex rods, and it opens up just like an umbrella. This eliminates time-consuming setups so you can spend more time shooting.. And its rigid aluminum construction keeps its shape, even in demanding outdoor conditions. The BoomBox features a reflective silver interior that amplifies the light and throws a punchy, specular beam that’s ideal when your image needs contrast and sharp detail. Its inner and outer diffusers broaden the beam and cast a soft wraparound light that’s great for portraits and fashion. In addition, the included removeable deflector plate transforms the box in a beauty dish-style light that casts a uniform beam while it eliminates hot spots. Its square shape directs light and prevents spill, and it’s great for simulating light streaming through a window or door. Optional 144 mm rings are available for compatibility with Broncolor, Elinchrom, and Profoto lights.

Support Rods
Don’t waste valuable minutes threading flex rods into your softbox. The integrated support rods are attached to the umbrella mechanism, so the BoomBox stays rigid when you open it and keeps its shape as long as it’s open.
Deflector Plate
The removable deflector plate gives the BoomBox’s light a beauty-dish quality. It creates a sensuous wraparound light that’s perfect for portraits and fashion photography. Since it sits directly in front of the flash, it also eliminates the center hot spot.
Silver Interior
The reflective silver interior throws off a broad, punchy, and contrasting light that wraps around your subject and offers sharper detail than diffused light.
Included Diffusers
When you need a softer and less specular light, use the included inner and outer diffusers. They’re fast and easy to attach, and they let you control the amount of diffusion you need for your exposure.
