Angler’s SBG-100 Acoustic Blanket will improve the sound of your room no matter where you shoot video or record audio. When shooting video in an office environment, the blanket can be mounted over a window to control ambient light, minimize acoustic reflections, and reduce ambient noise. The blanket is also effective when you’re shooting in an apartment that needs an acoustic treatment on the wall to reduce inside or outside sound. When tested under lab conditions, the SBG-100 Sound Blanket’s noise reduction and sound absorption numbers showed higher than standard. Ten sturdy metal grommets provide mounting options for walls, light stands, or background supports. The blanket can also be used to pad and protect gear during transport. The grommet holes can accommodate bungie cords to wrap valuable gear like cameras, lights, and lighting or sound consoles. The sound blanket has multiple advantages for anyone recording audio on location. The heavy cotton batting can dampen unwanted noise, improve soundproofing, and help isolate instruments.
