Overview
Impact’s set of two background hooks turns two light stands into a support system for most variable background support systems, including Impact’s Varidrive system. The hooks’ slots are made at a 45° angle, which also allows you to use baby pin wall plates to hang your backgrounds. Solid steel construction will securely hold the weight of a 140ʺ × 100ʹ paper roll.

The BH-VDH-BR hooks convert your light stands into Varidrive background holders, so you can easily raise and lower backdrops while you shoot. The hooks let you use the light stands to quickly set up a background without extra hardware or a dedicated background support system.
Holds One Varidrive System
The background holder hooks are perfect for supporting Impact’s Varidrive system, which allows you to effortlessly raise and lower your paper roll backgrounds.

45° Slots
The slots are cut at a 45° angle so you can use them in vertical orientation with your light stands, or in horizontal orientation with baby pin wall plates.
Holds Crossbar
The background hooks also support an Impact Cross Pole (VPC-5) in conjunction with Impact’s Varidrive for mounting coreless paper rolls and fabric backgrounds.
Heavy-Duty Steel Construction
With compatible light stands, the steel BH-VDH-BR hooks will securely hold the weight of a 140ʺ × 100ʹ paper roll.
