The passive XLR isolation transformer offers a fast and direct solution to the ever-present problem of ground-loop hum by breaking the ground loop without degrading the signal. Inserting the XIT-600 inline between a microphone and mixing board, or any two pieces of line-level gear, quiets ground-loop noise while leaving your signal intact. The XIT-600 features an XLRF input and XLRM output. It’s ideal for studio, home, or stage use, and it’s outfitted with gold-plated XLR connectors for superb noise reduction and flawless signal transfer. The rugged all-metal case makes it an integral device for any performer on the go.

Features

Eliminates Hum

Connecting a computer’s headphone output to an audio interface, plugging multiple components into different wall outlets, or just rogue DC current working its way into the signal can all cause hum. Hum is complicated to understand, but simple to eliminate. Add this in-line audio isolator into your signal path any time you hear the telltale hum and buzz of a ground loop, and the XIT-600 will eliminate it.

Leaves the Signal Intact

Whether you need to isolate balanced or unbalanced signals, the hum and buzz of ground loops are removed without affecting the quality of the audio. You’ll maintain the audio quality without signal loss or coloration.

Eliminates Interference

When noise that’s introduced into a balanced audio signal isn’t completely eliminated, inserting the XIT-600 into the line will make it inaudible and give you a pristine signal without the unwanted interference.

Live Performance

You never know what’s going to happen when you plug into a house sound system. Keep the XIT-600 in your mic or guitar case just in case the house doesn’t know what to do about hum. The XIT-600 is a lifesaver when you insert it In-line between microphones and amplifiers in PA systems.

For Unbalanced Signals Too

Ground loops can occur when multiple components are plugged into separate outlets. So, when you send an unbalanced signal from a DJ mixer over a long cable run to powered speakers or a mixing board, the possibility of the dreaded 60 Hz ground-loop hum is always lurking. Adding the XIT-600 to your signal path with the proper connecters will solve the problem.
