Overview
The Impact SBF-CS-5 is a durable saddle sandbag that comes filled with 5 pounds of sand. It’s ideal for stabilizing light stands, boom arms, and backgrounds in the studio or on location, and its high-visibility warning stripes let everyone know it’s there. Thick weather- and water-resistant Cordura fabric will stand up to the elements, and the warning stripes are sewn on, so they won’t wear off. The double-zipper design prevents spilling and lets you balance each side with the weight you need. Upper and lower handles made of thick nylon webbing provide options for transport and for hanging the sandbag as a counterweight.
Features
Saddlebag Design
The two-winged saddle sandbag sits directly over a stand leg and helps stabilize gear that can easily topple over like a boom arm or large softbox.
High-Visibility Warning Stripes
The universal black and yellow warning stripes will prevent mishaps thanks to their visibility. Warning stripes let everyone on a busy set or location know that this is a weighted studio accessory, and to walk around and don’t touch.
Rugged and Durable
The sandbag is made with thick Cordura nylon fabric that will withstand repeated use in the most demanding environments, whether it’s in the studio or on location. Cordura is also weather and water resistant, so it will stand up to the elements and keep the contents dry.
Sturdy Handles
Strong top and bottom handles are made with thick nylon webbing that make carrying or repositioning the sandbag easy. Use the handles with boom arms and tripods with counterweight hooks to use the sandbag as a counterweight and balance your gear.
Double Zipper
Make sure the contents of the sandbag stay in the bag and not on your studio floor or the trunk of your car. The double-zipper design on each side ensures that the contents of the bag will not spill out.
