Overview
Oben’s QRA-A2 Quick-Release Assembly with QR-10 Plate is a compact system that adds quick-release functionality to tripods and monopods, and heads that don’t have a built-in quick-release system. It features an Arca-style plate that can be adjusted 0.75 inches from side to side to find the perfect balance for your camera. For extra security, the plate is equipped with two safety studs that prevent the plate from sliding out of the clamp if the lock is accidentally left loose. Two bubble levels assure that you’re always aligned with the horizon, even if you set up on an uneven surface.

For Most 35 mm and DSLR Cameras
The QRA-A2 features the QR-10 quick-release plate with a 1/4-20 mounting screw that’s compatible with most 35 mm and DSLR cameras. Options for securely tightening the screw include the built-in D-ring, a slotted screwdriver or coin, or the included hex key.
Compatible with 3/8-16 and 1/4-20 Threaded Mounts
The quick-release assembly is compatible with most monopods, tripods, gimbals, and ballheads—whether they have a 3/8-16 or a 1/4-20 threaded mount.
Clamp and Locking Knob
The large locking knob is easy to grasp, so securing your camera and plate to the clamp takes just a simple twist. When you adjust your camera from side-to-side or front-to-back, the integrated safety studs ensure that the plate won’t accidentally slide off the clamp.
Positioning Scale
The positioning scale on both sides of the clamp lets you mark your camera’s position when it’s balanced. Use the marks when you set up again so you can achieve a perfect balance every time.
Arca-Type Plate
You can’t beat the combined convenience and security of an Arca-type quick-release plate. The QRA-A2 comes with Oben’s QR-10 Arca-style plate, and it’s compatible with most other Arca plates. To speedily swap or change in mid shoot, attach a compatible Arca plate to all of your cameras.
Dual Bubble Levels
The QRA-A2 makes it easy to level your camera, even if you set up on an uneven surface such as a hillside. Two bubble levels with horizontal and vertical orientation are integrated into the clamp to ensure you’re always aligned with the horizon.
