Overview
Impact’s 7-foot parabolic umbrella with a reflective silver interior is a flash modifier that’s an efficient light source for studio or outdoor shooting. The wide diameter and highly reflective silver interior creates a punchy and specular light that’s perfect for three-quarter and full-length fashion and portrait photography. It also broadens your light source and covers a larger area, which is ideal for group shots. The UP-7SI is designed with a finger-friendly locking device that won’t pinch when setting up or breaking down. Compatible with most flash-heads and monolights, this lightweight yet sturdy umbrella features a strong double-walled reinforced shaft and 16 fiberglass ribs to maintain its shape and tension on the fabric. A durable carry bag is included, so you can sling it over your shoulder and take it anywhere.
Features
Parabolic Shape
The parabolic shape produces a more natural wraparound light than a regular umbrella. This soft and natural light is what makes this umbrella a favorite of wedding and portrait photographers.
Wide Diameter
The 7-foot diameter ensures a soft light quality. This umbrella will reflect enough light for stunning portraits and group photos.
Silver Interior
A highly reflective silver ripstop nylon that lines the umbrella’s interior. It produces maximum light output that’s great for studio or outdoor shooting where more contrast or specular highlights are wanted. Often used by fashion photographers for its punchy light.
Improved Locking Mechanism
Everybody loves to use umbrellas for their shoots until it’s time to close them. The improved “finger-friendly” locking mechanism means you won’t pinch your fingers when you’re setting up or breaking down.
16-Rib Design
For an umbrella to be effective, it needs to maintain its shape, and the fabric should remain taut. The UP-7TI features a 16-rib design that maintains the shape of the umbrella and the tension of the fabric for an even light spread.
