Overview
The Magnus Pan-Handle Video Remote works with select Sony camcorders and cameras along with select Magnus tripods. This remote attaches to your tripod via the panhandle and allows manual panning and tilting of your tripod-mounted camera. It offers hands-on access to telephoto and wide-angle zoom, start and stop video, and choose single and continuous shooting. Turn your camera’s gridlines on and off and put your camera to sleep with additional control right from the handle. Functions vary depending on camera make and model.
Features
In-Hand Control
Using the Pan-Handle Video Remote gives you camera access to functions such as triggering photos and video, zoom, grid lines, and your camera’s sleep mode—all from your hand and while panning your tripod. A lockable shutter release allows you to keep the shutter open for long exposures or to enable continuous shooting. The remote fits nicely in your hand, and the tactile-control layout is easy to use.
Remote Zoom
Adjust your camera’s zoom on the fly and quickly switch from wide-angle to telephoto with Sony’s compatible power-zoom equipped cameras and camcorders. The slow-zoom feature allows you to gradually zoom no matter how hard you press, so you can capture smooth action without accidentally zooming too fast.
Detachable Remote
Detach the remote and control the zoom and other camera functions away from the camera. When you need to have direct control while panning your camera, just slide the remote back onto the pan arm.
