Impact’s Nested Apple Box set includes a full, half, quarter, and pancake (eighth) apple box. For convenient transporting and storage, the three smaller boxes fit inside the large box, and they’re held inside by a sliding lid. Whether you need to make your talent appear taller, support and level dolly tracks, or just want something to sit on between takes, there’s an apple box that will fit the need. There’s even a threaded baby pin socket included in the sliding lid to mount low-angle lighting or other fixtures. The Impact apple boxes are precisely made to industry-standard sizes. Each box is constructed with sturdy 9-ply Baltic Birch wood with a smooth natural finish that can be stained or painted for a desired look. Smooth edges on the side cutouts won’t cut into fingers during moves or transport.

Four Nested Apple Boxes
The set includes full, half, quarter, and pancake apple boxes that will cover a host of uses in any studio or set. The three smaller boxes fit snugly into the large box and are securely held by a sliding panel that’s held by two magnets.

Center Support
Stand on them, sit on them, mount lights on them, and use them as a step ladder. The boxes are made with center supports so they won’t sag in the middle or wobble when you’re standing on them. They’re made to give you solid support for whatever you need them for.
Smooth, Natural Finish
These boxes are going to be handled a lot, so the last thing you need is splinters or sharp edges digging into hands and fingers. The smooth, natural finish ensures handling ease, and it’ll look good too. The natural finish also lets you stain or paint the boxes whatever color you need for them to blend into your set.
Recessed 3/8-inch Threaded Mounting Socket
For low-angle camera, light, or accessory mounting, the sliding door is equipped with a 5/8-inch hole with a recessed 3/8-16 threaded socket. Attach a baby pin spigot with 3/8 and 1/4-inch threads (not included) to mount monolights, LEDs, and a wide variety of accessories at floor level for dramatic lighting angles or exciting low-angle camera placement.
