Overview
The Angler Mini CatchLight is a smaller version of Angler’s full-sized CatchLight Reflector. Like the larger model, a curved reflector minimizes or eliminates harsh shadows for a stunning, radiant effect that’s favored by portrait, fashion, and beauty photographers. It’s an ideal solution when the goal is capturing stunning portraits that make your subjects glow and dramatically stand out from the background. When this reflector is placed beneath a subject’s chin level, the reflected beam from a key light creates a seamless catchlight that’s the same shape and contour as the subject’s iris. It also delivers a clamshell lighting effect that accentuates beautiful skin tones and textures. With quick setup and breakdown and lightweight construction, the Mini Catchlight is perfect for location work, small studios, and on-the-go photography. It’s extremely easy to assemble and it’s designed to keep the reflector taut and free of wrinkles that can affect your lighting. An optional reversible white/soft gold fabric is available separately and attaches to the reflector with touch-connect strips, so you won’t have to take the reflector apart to change surfaces.

Curved Catchlights
One of the unique features of the Mini CatchLight is its seamless, curved catchlights that match the curvature of your subject’s eyes. The reflected catchlights are the same shape and contour of your subject’s irises and gives their eyes a distinct sparkle and liveliness.
Swivel/Tilt Bracket
The reflector comes with its own swivel/tilt bracket with a 5/8-inch receiver that lets you position your light to achieve the perfect effect with most light stands.
Smooth Fabric
To ensure that the silver fabric reflects your studio or ambient light for the best artistic results, the frame stretches the fabric and smooths out wrinkles and folds. And with a smooth and even reflector surface, you’ll have uniform reflected light.
Optional Reversible Fabric Insert
An optional reversible white/soft gold fabric, which is available separately, will let you enhance your lighting to include soft white or warm gold highlights. It fits right over the silver reflector and attaches with touch-connect strips.
