If you have Canon EF and EF-S prime, telephoto, or wide-angle lenses, get ready to use them on Canon EOS R camera bodies. The Vello LAE-CR-CEF Auto Lens Adapter allows you to attach your Canon EF/EF-S lenses to RF mount cameras. In addition, it maintains autoexposure and autofocus with most Canon lenses. Electrical contacts allow the lens and camera to communicate with each other for proper focus and exposure settings. And the adapter transmits Exif data, which records your camera and lens settings—such as aperture, shutter speed, and focal length—to your image files.
