Overview
The Impact 2.5-inch Grip Head with Hex Stud is specifically designed to be used with a super clamp to hold grip arms as well as lights and light modifiers such as scrims, flags, and cutters. The sturdy ME-107V2 grip head features an oversized T-handle that’s easy to grab for increased torque and secure tightening. Its integrated hex stud fits perfectly into the Super Clamp’s receiver, securely held by the Super Clamp’s locking pin and set screw. The ME-107V2’s hex stud fits perfectly into a Super Clamp’s hex receiver. Together they become a solid and versatile grip tool that can serve a wide variety of uses when you need to block, diffuse, or bounce light. With the grip head and super clamp in your bag, you can conserve grip gear and space by attaching a light and modifier to the same stand. When you add an optional grip arm to the head, there’s practically no limit to where you can place a light modifier, reflector, LED, or monolight.

2.5-Inch Grip Head
Impact’s beefy 2.5-inch grip head is strong enough to hold many times its weight. With four different-sized holes, it can accommodate most brands of grip arms as well as light modifiers such as scrims, flags, and cutters.
Hex Stud
The grip head’s integrated hex stud fits perfectly into the Super Clamp’s hex receiver. Together, they make a versatile grip tool that’s invaluable to photographers and videographers on location and in the studio. The hex stud won’t twist once it’s inserted and locked into Impact’s Super Clamp.
Four Mounting Holes
The grip head is constructed with 5/8, 3/8, 1/8, and 1/16 in. (16, 9, 3, 1.5 mm) mounting holes to fit a variety of gear including grip arms as well as modifiers, such as scrims, umbrellas, or flags.
Compatible with Impact’s Super Clamp
With the grip head and Super Clamp working together, you can mount a grip arm or light modifier that’s attached to a scrim frame onto practically any tube, poll, door, or table up to 2.2 inches thick.
Aluminum Alloy Construction
The aluminum alloy construction gives the grip head the durable strength needed to live up to repeated use in demanding production environments. When attached to the Impact Super Clamp, its solid aluminum construction can secure heavy fixtures or accessories like grip arms, light fixtures, and monitors. An oversize T-handle allows you to get a firm grip on any accessory.
