Overview
Being out in the nature, shooting photos of birds or wildlife, should be a thrill—but getting the right amount of light to illuminate your subject at a distance, can be a struggle. The Vello Flash Multiplier concentrates and extends your flash’s output to supply ample light on what you’re shooting. This means you can snap photos with lower power and ISO but increase detail and battery life. Using a 300 mm lens, you increase the range of your flash up to three f-stops and help reduce the refresh time between each shot. The Flash Multiplier is portable, and setup is a breeze. Attach it to a variety of flash heads via one of the available flash adapters (sold separately).

Concentrated Flash Output
The Vello Flash Multiplier strengthens your flash’s power output and extends the light for distant subjects. This is ideal when out shooting birds or wildlife with a 300 mm lens. In these situations, it’s hard to get enough light so you can capture more detail. The inner surface is metallic and reflective, so it concentrates your flash beam to reach further distances. And having stronger light means you can reduce your ISO and increase the output up to three f-stops.
Reduced Battery Drain
Having greater flash power means less battery drain. By upping the intensity of your flash’s light output, you can use less power for each shot. Extend the life of your batteries so you can keep shooting out in the wild.
Diffused Light
An included diffuser makes it easy to use the Flash Multiplier as a soft box. If you need less intense light, you can attach the diffuser and spread the light evenly onto your subject.
Four-Sided Enclosure
Having a four-sided enclosure when working with a Fresnel lens is quite important. Most flash multipliers are open, so if you sit your camera down in the sun, it allows the sun and Fresnel lens to work together and possibly burn your flash or camera. The Vello Flash Multiplier sets up fully enclosed, and the inner metallic surface helps bounce the rays outward.
