Overview
The FastBox pistol grip is an ideal accessory when you need to put aside your FastBox for a more specular beam with dramatic and more pronounced shadows. The pistol grip is designed with a locking 5/8-inch receiver that allows you to mount your flash on a light stand for stand-alone use. A trigger grip on the handle offers effortless tilt adjustment and ensures your flash is precisely aimed exactly where you want it. It’s also great for handheld flash operation, so you can get into nooks, crannies, and angles that are impossible with a light stand. The pistol grip is not just for your flashes. The 1/4-20 mounting screw lets you mount any 1/4-20 accessory like a light or camera. A side cold-shoe mount lets you add even more accessories to your setup, like a radio slave. And to soften your flash’s beam, there’s an umbrella mount that you can use with a shoot-through or reflective umbrella. When you combine the pistol grip with a FastBox flash adapter, you’ll be able to add Angler’s collection of light shapers, gels, and diffusers in the FB-CDGK color correction kit.

Pistol Grip for Flashes
The pistol grip is designed to work in tandem with Angler’s flash adapters and offer stand-alone and handheld flash operation. It’s compatible with on-camera flashes as well as flashes with round heads like Profoto’s A1 and Godox V1 and AD100Pro Flashes.
5/8-Inch Receiver
The pistol grip’s integrated locking 5/8-inch receiver is compatible with light stands and accessories that offer a 5/8-inch stud, like a baby-pin wall plate or super clamp. It gives you the freedom to place your flash anywhere you can mount a baby pin.
1/4-20 Mounting Screw
The pistol grip is not just your flashes. The 1/4-20 mounting screw lets you mount any 1/4-20 accessory like a light or camera.
Cold-Shoe Accessory Mount
A side cold-shoe mount lets you add even more accessories to your setup like a radio slave, ball head, or accessory arm.
Umbrella Mount
To soften your flash and add some directionality to the beam, there’s an umbrella mount that you can use to add a shoot-through or reflective umbrella to your setup.
