Overview
The Angler BB-DP is a replacement deflector plate for Angler’s BoomBox series of softboxes. It easily attaches to the BoomBox’s center mechanism with the included thumbscrew. When used with the BoomBox softbox, it provides beauty dish-quality light that wraps around your subject and softens shadows for a less specular light. It also minimizes the hot spot that occurs when shooting with an on-camera flash.
Features
Deflector Plate
The removable reflector plate provides a beauty dish-quality to the BoomBox’s light . It creates a sensuous wraparound light that’s perfect for portraits and fashion photography.
Eliminates Hot Spots
Since it sits directly in front of the flash, the deflector plate also eliminates the center hot spot that’s associated with on-camera flashes.
Westcott Compatible
The Angler deflector plate is compatible with Westcott’s Rapid Box Octa, Octa Mini, and Rapid Box Strip softboxes.
