Overview
The Oben SPA-03 is a sturdy smartphone adapter that attaches onto a camera’s shoe mount and allows you to use your smartphone as a monitor, additional camera, or even a prompter. The adapter features a spring-loaded clamp with silicon padding that securely holds smartphones and devices up to 3.4 inches wide without scratching the finish or the camera’s screen. Solid and durable aluminum construction delivers camera stability whether the smartphone is in portrait or landscape orientation. The mounting foot has an integrated 1/4-20 socket for easily mounting the adapter onto a tripod. An additional cold shoe and two extra 1/4-20 accessory sockets are built into the adapter and allow the addition of compatible devices like a small LED light, microphone, or wireless receiver.

Camera Mounting
The SPA-03 adapter has a shoe mount that’s compatible with your camera’s hot or cold shoe. Slide it on, clamp it down with the locking ring, and use your smartphone as a monitor, recorder, or even as a prompter while you’re vlogging.
Tripod Mounting
The adapter has an industry-standard 1/4-20 socket for when you want to mount your camera to a standard or desktop tripod for streaming, video conferences, or chats.
Spring-Loaded Smartphone Clamp
The spring-loaded clamp will accept a smartphone or other compatible devices up to 3.4 inches wide. The clamp is padded with silicon strips that improve its grip but won’t scratch your phone’s finish or screen. The clamp can also hold devices like wireless receivers and small power banks.
Cold Shoe and 1/4-20 Accessory Sockets
Add other devices to your setup as you need them. The adapter’s cold shoe mount and two additional 1/4-20 accessory sockets allow you to add compatible devices like a small LED light, on-camera microphone, or a shock mount for a shotgun microphone.
Camera Rotation and Aiming
The smartphone clamp is attached with a ball joint that rotates a full 360°, so you can instantly switch the camera from portrait to landscape orientation and everything in between. The clamp’s arm features a tilting joint that can adjust the camera angle when needed.
