The SCM-UC1 suspends your microphone with heavy-duty elastic bands and prevents unwanted vibrations from traveling through a mic stand and affecting the performance of the microphone. Whether it’s footsteps or you bump the desktop, your microphone is decoupled from the surface, and your recording will be professionally quiet and free of handling noise.

Loose connections can cause vibrations and buzzing. The clamp-style holder fits many large studio condenser microphones (ranging between 48 and 52mm in diameter) and maintains a firm and snug hold on the microphone.

Tilt the shockmount to the perfect angle so your microphone points directly at the sound source. Tighten the locking knob to ensure the shockmount and mic don’t slip during your recording.

The industry-standard 5/8″-27 thread fits most mic stands and boom arms. The metal mic stand adapter assures a durable and secure connection between the shockmount and your mic stand. A 5/8 to 3/8" adapter is included to ensure compatibility with a wide range of stands.

The felt-lined cylinder protects the microphone’s finish and adds extra attenuation of unwanted vibrations.
