Overview
The Angler CL-24V2 CatchLight is a curved reflector that minimizes or eliminates harsh shadows for a stunning, radiant effect that’s favored by portrait, fashion, and beauty photographers. It’s an ideal solution when the goal is capturing stunning portraits that make your subjects glow and dramatically stand out from the background. When the CatchLight is placed beneath the chin level of a subject, the reflected beam from a key light creates a seamless curved catchlight that matches the shape and contour of your subject’s eyes. With its highly reflective silver surface, the CatchLight can be used with a wide variety of studio and ambient lighting. It delivers professional-style clamshell lighting that accentuates beautiful skin tones and textures while it minimizes uncomplimentary shadows. The CatchLight is extremely easy to assemble and features zippered end attachments that keep the reflector taut and free of wrinkles that can affect your lighting. An optional reversible white/soft gold fabric is available separately and attaches to the reflector with touch-connect strips, so you won’t have to take the reflector apart to change surfaces.

Curved-Shaped Catchlights
One of the unique features of the CL-24V2 is its seamless, curved catchlights that match the curvature of your subject’s eyes. For compelling portraits with a dramatic sparkle in your subject’s eyes, there’s no substitute for the catchlights that are the same shape and contour of your subject’s irises.
Swivel/Tilt Bracket
In order to achieve clamshell lighting, you need to precisely aim the CatchLight. The reflector comes with its own swivel/tilt bracket that lets you position your light to achieve the perfect effect.
Zippered End Attachment
To ensure that the silver fabric reflects your studio or ambient light for the best artistic results, the zippered end attachments stretch the fabric and smooth out wrinkles and folds. And with a smooth and even reflector surface, you’ll have smooth and even reflected light.
Optional Reversible Fabric Insert
An optional reversible white/soft gold fabric is available separately that will let you enhance your lighting to include soft white or warm gold highlights. It fits right over the sliver reflector and attaches with touch-connect strips.
