Overview
Pearstone’s CAT8-S14B is an ideal solution for affordable network scalability that will accommodate ever-increasing bandwidth demands and Ethernet speeds. This patch cable is rated up to 2000 MHz and is capable of transmission speeds up to 40 Gbps. It’s made for large gigabit network installations in an office, data center, or an entire building, and it meets or exceeds all Cat8 standards for reliable and speedy data transfer. Four tightly twisted pairs of stranded copper conductors are double-shielded with aluminum-mylar wrap and an aluminum braid that will practically eliminate interference and crosstalk, even over long cable runs. PoE support allows the cable to deliver up to 60 watts of power to compatible devices, eliminating the need for separate outlets or power supplies. The RJ-45 connectors feature shielding that ensures your data is protected at all points of the cable. Corrosion-resistant gold plating provides reliable conductivity for the highest possible Ethernet speeds. To make wiring dense network configurations a breeze, the snagless boot design prevents the connectors from catching on other cables, which is a plus for reconfiguring and rewiring switchers and patch bays.

Gold-Plated RJ-45 Connectors

Stranded Bare Copper Conductors
Copper conductors are one of the most reliable materials for conductivity and flawless signal transfer. 28 AWG stranded bare copper construction assures maximum efficiency with minimal signal loss.
Isolated Twisted-Pair Construction
The four pairs of stranded bare copper conductors are tightly twisted to reject radio frequency (RF) and electromagnetic (EM) interference as well as minimize near-end crosstalk that can slow down the speed of your network.
Double Shielding
Double-shielding minimizes crosstalk as well as RF and EM interference to maintain data reliability and transmission speed that’s crucial to your network. Each twisted pair is shielded with an aluminum-mylar wrap, and all four pairs are surrounded by an aluminum braid. For even more complete protection, the RJ45 connectors are also shielded so your data is shielded and protected at all points along the cable.
Molded Snagless Boot
