Overview
The Ruggard Camera Saddle Bag is an essential component for your video rig that offers a moldable design that conforms to your camera and irregular support structures. This malleable saddle offers versatility and allows for stress-free shooting, freeing you to place the saddle on the ground, on a rock, or in a car and rest your camera on top. The inside is filled with polyester beads and the outside is a waterproof canvas with industrial-strength stitching, making the saddle lightweight, durable, and vibration-absorbent. A padded shoulder strap provides long hours of comfortable wear as you sling it over your shoulder, reducing physical strain during long shoots. Users can place the saddle on moving supports like a bicycle or dolly, or secure it to static objects like ladders and trees using the included rope, anchors, tie-down loops, and quick straps. Its flexible positioning enables unique shooting angles and dynamic video, making it an ideal alternative to traditional camera supports.
Features
Versatile Camera Support
Holding a camera and shooting video all day can be tiresome, and you need a lot of equipment. The Ruggard Camera Saddle alleviates stress and reduces the amount of gear you need to carry with you. Sling the saddle over your shoulder and place your camera on the bag for a stabilized shot. Use the saddle under your elbow to eliminate the tension on your arms. Place the malleable saddle on a fence, on a rock, or on wet grass and you have a flexible support structure to rest your camera on. Avoid having to use a cumbersome tripod that needs to be set up for every shot.
Vibration Absorption
Thousands of polyester beads fill the inside of the saddle to help with vibrations and rigidity. The beads soak up movement and bumps to provide a stabilized shot when resting the camera on the bag and moving about.
Heavy-Duty Canvas
The Ruggard Camera Saddle is made of a waterproof canvas that has heavy duty stitching, offering lightweight durability for all day shooting. Plop the saddle on a rocky beach or on grass and it won’t snag, rip, or get wet. It provides a flexible and robust support that withstands the elements.
Mounting Kit
The mounting kit includes two types of anchors, a couple of quick straps, and a 27 ft. rope so you can securely attach the saddle and your camera to a moving support structure. Secure the saddle to a car, bicycle, or dolly and capture dynamic video of a car chase or first-person action.
Storage Pockets
There are three pockets on the outside of the saddle for you to keep accessories close and at hand. Two small pockets are open on one side, offering space for quick-grab items like batteries and memory cards. A large compartment on the other side of the saddle has a touch-fastener closure to keep cables from spilling out.
Detachable Zipper Pull
A detachable zipper pull keeps the polyester bead compartment secure so you won’t accidentally open it during a shoot. Add or remove beads to increase or decrease the rigidity of the saddle.
