Overview
A true workhorse on any movie or video set, Impact’s C-stand features a 40-inch double riser that can’t compare for sturdy support for light fixtures and accessories weighing up to 22 pounds. This sliding-leg model has a movable top leg that’s designed for leveling the stand on uneven surfaces like stairs or a curb. Impact’s unique quick-release leg lock simplifies opening and closing the legs for rapid deployment and breakdown. With a simple twist, the legs open to the perfect position. There’s no extra positioning of the legs. All you need to do is tighten the locking knob and go to work. The C-stand’s unique feature of staggered leg height allows you to place the stands very close to each other when floor space is at a premium, or you need to fit several stands in a small area. Constructed with oversized steel tubing for maximum rigidity and strength, oversized locking handles, and stainless steel brake inserts, you can set your fixture and forget it. The C-stand will hold it flawlessly until it’s time to wrap.

Sliding Leg Design

Quick Release
Impact’s unique quick-release system requires you to make only a slight twist to let the feet fall perfectly into place. Once the feet are open, there’s no additional adjusting for level ground. Just tighten the locking knob, and go to work!
Heli-coil Inserts
The stainless steel heli-coil brake inserts assure incredible gripping power. You’ll get a significant amount of torque without damaging the C-stand’s brake casting.
Oversized Tubes
The stand features oversized tubes that will support lateral stress loads and won’t flex. Your lights will be secure and won’t wobble even at maximum load capacity set at maximum height.
