Battery Grip for Sony a1, a9 II, a7 S III, a7R V, a7R IV, and a7 IV Series Cameras

The Vello BG-S7 battery grip accepts two Sony NP-FZ100 rechargeable batteries to effectively double the runtime of your Sony a7R IV, a7S III, and a9 II series mirrorless cameras. You’ll be able to shoot for longer durations—especially useful for video—without replacing your camera’s battery.

An alternate shutter release button allows you to comfortably shoot in portrait orientation, so you won’t have to twist your arm to get the right shot.

The BG-S7 provides secondary controls, such as front and rear dials, C1 and C2 function buttons, and AF-ON and AEL buttons, as well as a multi-selector joystick. Having these familiar controls means your hand will feel comfortable, and you can keep shooting the way you always have.

A control lock is conveniently positioned around the shutter release button. You can quickly lock the controls to prevent accidentally pressing something while you’re shooting in a landscape position.

The BG-S7 is equipped with a strap mount for attaching a hand grip which protects against drops.

There is a convenient storage slot located in the grip, allowing you to safely store the camera’s removable battery door while using the grip.

The BG-S7 attaches to your camera’s tripod socket with a 1/4-20 mounting screw for a secure fit. A 1/4-20 tripod socket on the bottom of the grip means your camera retains its mounting ability.

A rubber nonslip grip enables enhanced handling when shooting in portrait orientation, even with cold hands.
