Battery Grip for Panasonic Lumix GH5, GH5s and GH5 II Mirrorless Cameras

Double the runtime of your Panasonic Lumix GH5 and GH5s mirrorless cameras. The Vello BG-P2 Battery Grip accepts a Panasonic DMW-BLF19 type rechargeable battery for extended photo shoots or when recording video.

The grip features alternate controls for shutter release, white balance, ISO, EV, Fn buttons, AF/AE Lock, joystick, as well as front and rear command dials. These buttons make it comfortable to shoot in portrait orientation, so you won’t have to twist your arm to operate your camera.

This switch deactivates the grip’s control buttons and dials, as well as the shutter release button without, deactivating the battery in the BG-P2. It’s perfect for preventing accidental activation while shooting in landscape orientation or video, when you don’t need the buttons but you do need the extra power.

The BG-P2 attaches to your camera’s tripod socket with a 1/4-20 mounting screw for a secure fit. A 1/4-20 tripod socket on the bottom of the grip means your camera retains its mounting ability.

A rubber nonslip grip enables enhanced handling when shooting in portrait orientation, even with cold hands.

The BG-P2 is equipped with a built-in strap mount that makes it easy to attach a handgrip to protect against drops.
