Battery Grip for Nikon D810, D800 & D800E DSLR Cameras

Double the runtime of your Nikon D810 and D800/D800E DSLR cameras. The Vello BG-N7-2 Battery Grip accepts a Nikon EN-EL15 rechargeable battery, so you can keep shooting after your camera’s battery runs out of power.

An alternate shutter release makes it comfortable to shoot in portrait orientation, so you won’t have to twist your arm to get the right shot.

Two dials allow main and sub-command adjustments when your camera is in the vertical position. This allows control over your aperture and shutter speed with familiar finger placement.

The AF-ON button preserves the ability to back-button lock focus when taking images in portrait mode. Quickly press this button to prevent your focus from changing, making it easier for you to operate your camera and take great photos.

The multi-selector provides an easy way to reposition your focus point or focus zone, just like on your camera. You can also scroll through pictures, display image information, or set the selector for alternative functionality through the camera’s menu.

A control lock is conveniently positioned around the shutter release button. You can quickly lock the controls to prevent accidentally triggering something while you’re shooting in a landscape position.

An included AA battery holder takes eight AA batteries. This makes it easy to have a handy alternate power source when you’re out in the field.

A rubber nonslip grip enables enhanced handling when shooting in portrait orientation, even with cold hands.

The BG-N7-2 attaches to your camera’s tripod socket with a 1/4-20 mounting screw for a secure fit. A 1/4-20 tripod socket on the bottom of the grip means your camera retains its mounting ability.
