Overview
Impact’s Studio Fan creates a wind-like effect in the studio so you can record movement and produce dynamic photos. Aim the fan on a subject’s hair to simulate a windy beach setting or some leaves blowing on a fall afternoon. Mount the fan onto any light stand with a 5/8-inch stud, and use the tilt feature to lock in the ideal angle. A single knob operates the power switch and variable speed control so you can dial in the ideal airflow with up to 30 mph wind speed. Please note that this fan operates at a volume of 72 dB/A and is not recommended for use when shooting video content with live sound.

Wind Effect

Variable Speed
One switch activates the power and adjusts the fan speed. With a max of 2600 revolutions per minute, you can ramp up winds to 30 mph and produce a strong breeze.
Adjustable Angle
Once the fan sits on a light stand, you can adjust the angle of air flow. Position the fan down low or up high so you can kick up leaves onto a child jumping into the pile or blow snow down onto a family building a snowman.
Sixteen Foot Power Cable
Connect the fan to a distant power source with a 16-feet cable which allows you to raise the fan up high on your stand or run the cord around furniture.
