Overview
The Vello FreeWave Fusion Basic 2.4 GHz expands your photographic options with an easy-to-use 2.4 GHz radio remote trigger system that can trigger hot-shoe flashes or studio lights up to 328 feet away. It does not require line of sight as the radio waves pass through and around objects such as walls, windows, floors and trees. This advanced system frees you from relying on sync cables for remote equipment. And there are up to 16 channels to minimize interference between other wireless remote controls. The FreeWave Fusion Basic 2.4 GHz is ideal for long-exposure, macro and close-up shots when the slightest camera movement can cause blurry images. Use the time-delay function when you want to include yourself in the picture. Use the FreeWave Fusion Basic 2.4 GHz to release the shutter from a safe distance to capture hard-to-approach wildlife. Capture candid moments by standing away from the camera and viewing the full scene. You can take single shots or shoot in continuous mode. The dual-function shutter release allows for a halfway press to focus, and a full press to trigger the shutter. The FreeWave features a flash sync speed of up to 1/250 of a second, and you can trigger multiple flashes with the use of additional receivers (available separately) all from a single transmitter.

Long Range Signal
A 2.4 GHz radio signal allows you to place your camera and lighting equipment up to 328′ (100 m) away. This radio signal is robust and does not require line of sight as it passes through and around objects such as walls, windows, floors and trees.
Wireless Triggering
Trigger camera flashes and studio lights without getting caught up in ball of wires and cables. Use multiple receivers (optional) to trigger many flashes with a single transmitter. This system gives you freedom to get creative with your setup options.
Fast Sync Speed
Freeze fast action with a sync speed of as fast as 1/250 sec. Perfect for capturing the last second goal score or an acrobatic vault.
Remote Release
Remotely trigger your camera without touching it. This reduces vibrations when taking long-exposure, macro or close-up shots where the slightest camera movement can cause blurry images.
Dual-Function Shutter Release
The shutter release button operates with dual functionality. Press the release button half-way to focus the camera, and press fully to take a shot.
Sixteen Channels
Up to 16 channels allow you to change your transmitter and receiver operating channels to avoid radio interference from other wireless triggering systems.
LED Indicators
LEDs provide visual communication of the trigger system for pre-focus, shutter release, and flash triggering in wireless mode.
