Overview
The Impact 20-inch Grip Arm is one of the accessories no studio or production company should be without. It perfectly fits the Impact 20-inch C-Stand when it’s collapsed. It’s also a go-to arm for Impact’s 40-inch C-stands when you need a shorter reach for supporting light fixtures, accessories, and light-modifying gobos like flags, silks, and scrims. This grip arm features Impact’s hexagonal 2½-inch grip head with an ergonomic T-handle for maximum torque when you’re mounting accessories. The milled hexagonal end pin will prevent moderately heavy and bulky light fixtures with modifiers from twisting out of position.

20-Inch Grip Arm
A staple on any film, video, or photo set, the 20-inch grip is engineered to securely hold most lights, light modifiers, and grip gear. The GA-20-S/B grip arm is ideal for rigging a moderately heavy light directly over the camera lens or hanging an accent or hair light above your subject.
End Hex Pin
For functionality in the studio and out, the hexagonal end pin is precisely milled to ensure that small lights and accessories don’t slip or twist when they’re mounted to the end of the arm.
2.5-Inch Grip Head
The 2.5-inch grip head is a go-to piece of industry-standard gear that’s compatible with C-stands, light stands, and baby pin wall mounts. This tough and versatile grip head includes a precision-cut 5/8-inch hole for grip arms and other baby-pin attachments, a 3/8-inch hole for gobos, and a 1/8-inch hole for grabbing the thin wires used for rigging fingers and dots.
Solid All Metal Construction
The grip arm is rated to hold up to 22 lb. at full extension. With a compatible C-stand and proper sandbagging, this hefty arm will remain steady when you mount moderately heavy light fixtures with modifiers, grip accessories, and gobos on it.
